About the Program
The Master of Science in Software Development and Management (SD&M) at RIT is a forty-eight (48) quarter-credit hour program (12 courses) offered for part-time study in a distance-learning format.
This degree program was established in 1987 to provide post-baccalaureate education to those wishing to pursue management careers in the software development field. The program continues to evolve alongside the software industry with a balance of traditional and contemporary approaches to software development and software management.
